The Next Steps Program at Maluhia Baptist Church is a 5 Step Process that ensures that we accomplish our mission which is to inspire people to love God, grow together, and reach people. Each step is important and it will move an individual who is disconnected from God and from a church family to a person who has a strong relationship with God and is apart of loving and growing church family. Inspiring you to love God
Your first visit to Maluhia Baptist will be refreshing, friendly, and enjoyable for your whole family. You will experience inspiring music, helpful teaching and preaching, friendly people, and a place where you feel welcome and at home!

Services
At Maluhia Baptist Church, worship services are one of our favorite times of the week. We would love for you to come and visit our Worship Services on Sunday at 10:30 am or 5 pm, and also our midweek Growth Group on Wednesday at 6:30 pm. Maluhia Baptist Church is a family of individuals who have put their faith in Jesus Christ alone for eternal salvation. We would be thrilled to talk to you about it personally and explain what the Bible says about how you can know for sure you are on your way to Heaven. Community
Connecting you with others for Bible study and friendships
Be strengthened and encouraged through a Growth Group. They are a community of believers that genuinely care.
“42 And they continued stedfastly in the apostles’ doctrine and fellowship, and in breaking of bread, and in prayers.” (Acts 2:42)
Growth Groups
One of the best times to learn about the Bible is when we come together in our Growth Group which are broken down so that you can interact with other people in our community. Core Class
Once a quarter, we invite all of the new members to a class designed just for them. In this class, the core values of Maluhia Baptist Church will be explained so that everyone has a firm foundation of what we believe. If you are interested in the Core class, feel free to ask Pastor when the next class is, or you can sign up here.
Commitment
Teaching you about the basics of the Christian life
Be a growing follower of Jesus Christ. Study God’s Word faithfully and apply it to your life.
“2 And the things that thou hast heard of me among many witnesses, the same commit thou to faithful men, who shall be able to teach others also.” (2 Timothy 2:2)
First Steps
A priority at Maluhia Baptist Church is to equip all new Christians with the knowledge of what the Christian life is all about. One way we do that is through a three-week Bible study called First Steps. This class gives a high overview of the Christian life and gives the essential foundation before making the decision of being discipled.
Discipleship
Another way we teach the basics of the Christian life is through the Continue one-on-one discipleship program. This is an in-depth program that goes over many of the questions you may have about the Christian life.
3 – Become a Member
You can become a member of Maluhia Baptist Church through one of three ways:
Baptism after Salvation:
The Bible instructs every person who has accepted Christ as their personal Saviour to be baptized. It is a public testimony of your faith. When a person is baptized at Maluhia Baptist, they are added to the membership of Maluhia Baptist Church.
Statement of Faith or Transfer of Letter:
If you have already accepted Christ and have been baptized in a Baptist church whose doctrine is in agreement with Maluhia Baptist Church, you may present your testimony of salvation and be voted into membership by your statement of faith or transfer of membership from another Baptist church. You may do this by stepping forward and speaking with a pastor during the invitation in any church service.
Statement of Faith by Baptism
If you have accepted Christ and have not been baptized in a Baptist church of like faith, to become a member, you will be asked to publicly identify with Christ and Maluhia Baptist Church by being baptized into our membership. Maluhia Baptist Church is committed to maintaining a doctrinal unity in this day of confusion and doctrinal compromise. If you believe that God has led you to this church, and if you understand that baptism is simply a testimony of your faith, we invite you to identify with Christ and Maluhia Baptist Church by being baptized as the Lord leads you.
3 – Become a Member
You can become a member of Maluhia Baptist Church through one of three ways:

4 – Complete New Members Class
We would be happy to welcome you into our family here at Maluhia Baptist Church. Membership is finalized upon completion of our Core class, which meets periodically throughout the year. Someone from the church office will contact you regarding this helpful class.
5 – Study through One-on-One Discipleship
Beginning in the middle of September, Christians will begin classes that will help them become better grounded in their faith and learning answers to their spiritual questions. The Continue discipleship program has been found to be cross-culturally relevant and biblically sound. When you enroll in discipleship, you will be placed with an experienced Christian who will help guide you in your new-found faith.
5 – Study through One-on-One Discipleship
