What to expect

Your first visit,
step by step.

No guessing needed — here’s exactly how a service at Maluhia goes, from parking to talking story afterward.

Services typically run a little over an hour.

1

Park with ease

Parking in the middle of Kailua town can be a little tricky, so we made a colorful, easy-to-read map of the closest spots. Our entrance is at the corner of Kuulei Rd. and Maluniu Ave.

Get a warm welcome

Look for our Greeters at the door — they’ll help you find your way, show parents right where the keiki go (nursery and children’s church), and answer any questions you have. If you let us know you’re coming, we’ll be looking for you by name — and we can preregister your kids ahead of time so check-in is quick and easy.

3

Worship together

We begin with inspiring music that points our hearts to the Lord. Sing along or simply listen — whatever is comfortable for you. Right before the preaching time, kids are dismissed to Keiki Church.

4

Hear from God’s Word

The heart of every service is helpful, encouraging preaching straight from the Bible — truth you can carry into your week.

5

Talk story with us

Stay a while after the service — meet a few of us, and let us get to know you. This is many people’s favorite part of the morning.

Bring the whole family

There’s room
for everyone.

We want parents and kids to know what’s waiting before they walk through the door.

Adults

Adults gather for Bible study, prayer, fellowship, and practical teaching from God’s Word. Whether you are new to faith or have followed Christ for years, you will find opportunities to build relationships, serve, and keep growing.

Children

Nursery care is available at every service. Sunday morning and Wednesday evening ministries help children learn Scripture, know Jesus, build friendships, and understand how faith shapes everyday life.

Teens

Teens are invited to Bible studies that help them understand Scripture and follow Christ with confidence. They also have opportunities to serve alongside the church, build strong friendships, and grow in their faith.

It’s okay to ask

Questions before
your first Sunday?

Still wondering about something? Call, text, or email us. A real person will get back to you.

Ask us anything
What should I wear?

Whatever makes you comfortable. You’ll see aloha wear, casual clothes, and some more traditional outfits. There is no dress code for members or guests.

Will I be asked to give money?

No. We want the service to be a gift to you. As our guest, please don’t feel any obligation to participate in the offering.

How long is the service?

Services are typically a little over one hour and include worship, fellowship, and a message from God’s Word.

What about my children?

Nursery care is available during every service. Children’s ministries meet Sunday morning and Wednesday evening for children of all ages.

Do I have to fill out the visit form?

Not at all. It simply helps us prepare a friendly welcome, answer questions ahead of time, and save you a seat if you’d like one.
