Our Beliefs.

We believe the Bible, consisting of the 66 books from Genesis to Revelation, is the verbally and plenarily inspired Word of God. Because God is its Author, the Scriptures are inerrant, infallible, and our final authority in all matters of faith and practice. For reasons of unity within the church and consistency in preaching and teaching, we choose to use the King James Version of the Bible.

We believe in one living and true God, eternally existing in three Persons—Father, Son, and Holy Spirit—equal in deity and worthy of all worship.

He is the Creator and Sustainer of all things, perfect in holiness, wisdom, power, justice, and love. Each Person is fully God, yet there is one God.

We believe Jesus Christ is the eternal Son of God and the one and only Savior of mankind. He was born of a virgin, is fully God and fully man, and lived a perfect, sinless life. In the incarnation He did not surrender any attribute of His deity; He came to reveal God, redeem sinners, and rule over God’s kingdom.

He offered Himself for all people as the substitutionary sacrifice for sin. His death and shed blood fully satisfied God’s righteous judgment, and His bodily resurrection demonstrated that the Father accepted His finished work. He ascended to Heaven and is seated at the right hand of the Father. He will receive His church at the Rapture and return personally and visibly to reign as King.

We believe the Holy Spirit is a divine Person who possesses all the attributes of deity. The Holy Spirit has always been active in the affairs of humanity. His special present ministry began at Pentecost and continues until the Rapture.

He convicts the world of sin, righteousness, and judgment, and He regenerates, indwells, sanctifies, seals, and fills all who place their faith in Jesus Christ.

We believe every person is born with a sinful nature inherited from Adam, is a sinner by choice, and is completely unable to reform or save themselves. Our only hope is repentance toward God and personal faith in Jesus Christ.

Salvation is God’s free gift, received by grace through faith alone in Christ’s substitutionary death and bodily resurrection—not through baptism, church membership, or any work of our own. Those who reject Christ remain under condemnation and face eternal separation from God in the Lake of Fire.

We believe the church began when Jesus Christ called out the twelve apostles and was empowered on the Day of Pentecost. The local church is God’s only institution for carrying out His work today.

Each church is an independent, autonomous congregation of believers who have been saved, baptized by immersion, and voluntarily united for worship, fellowship, discipleship, service, and carrying the gospel to the world. The church observes two ordinances—believer’s baptism by immersion and the Lord’s Supper—and faithfully carries out the Great Commission.

Baptism follows salvation, publicly identifies a believer with Christ, and brings that believer into the membership of the local church; it does not contribute to salvation.

We believe Scripture should be interpreted literally according to its grammatical and historical context. We believe in the pre-tribulation Rapture of the church, followed by the seven-year Tribulation and the premillennial return of Jesus Christ to the earth.

Christ will literally reign for one thousand years, followed by the Great White Throne judgment and the new Heaven and new Earth.
